Wanda Sykes and wife Alex welcome twins

Comedian and actor Wanda Sykes and her wife Alex welcomed twins on April 27, a rep for Sykes has just revealed to People magazine.
Alex gave birth to the babies, the first children for the couple. Their daughter, Olivia Lou, weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz., and was 19-inches long. Son Lucas Claude arrived at 7 lbs., 9 oz., and 20-inches long.
Wanda's rep told People, "All are happy and healthy and at home."
It's been a big year for Wanda. She and Alex (who has so far stayed out of the public eye) were married on October 25, 2008, before Proposition 8 outlawed same-sex marriage in California, then Wanda famously came out at an anti-Prop 8. rally in November. In addition to her ongoing role in the CBS comedy The New Adventures of Old Christine, Sykes continues to do stand-up and is a frequent guest on talk shows like Ellen to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Kristin Davis On Sex And The City 2

OKMagazine.com: It’s not just the legions of fans that are getting excited for the sequel to Sex and the City: The Movie, even the stars are amped for their return to the big screen.
“We’re excited too,” Kristin Davis told reporters at Modern Bride’s 25 Trendsetters of 2009 at NYC’s Palace Hotel on May 11. ” It’s very exciting and very different than the first one, which is the luxury of getting to do another one.”
After the show ended its run on TV, there were a few things left hanging with Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda, which was part of the fun of making the first movie, Kristin explains.
“We did the first one, and those were our pent-up things that we hadn’t finished in the show, so now we’re just starting fresh in a way, which is really, really exciting,” she says. “It’s just a new adventure.”
Another great reason to be thrilled about returning to the set withSarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall? Quality time!
“It’s like getting to be with your girlfriends for 18 hours a day, which, you know, nobody gets to do in their lives,” Kristin reveals, adding that the actresses are also friends offscreen.
“We see each other when we’re not working,” she tells OK!. “Everyone thinks we don’t, I don’t know why, [maybe] because we don’t parade down the street when we’re together.”
And two other very exciting and tiny reasons to be thrilled being back on set? SJP’s twins!
“I get to hold one when she’s holding the other,” jokes Kristin.”I put in my request.”

It's a boy for Nicole & Joel!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are already the proud parents of an adorable 16-month-old daughter, Harlow, and now, they’re getting ready for the arrival of a bouncing baby boy in August, a friend tells In Touch. “Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and — surprise, surprise — it’s blue,” reveals another pal of the couple, who adds that Nicole refers to the baby as “he.” “Plus, she recently ordered some plush animals and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue.”

Cops Called to Lindsay Lohan's House

Can't a girl get some peace in the Hollywood Hills? Lindsay Lohan had to deal with the cops coming to her house Tuesday afternoon when burglars attempted to break in to her home, E! News reports.
"It was an attempted burglary," LAPD spokeswoman Karen Reyner said. "No property was taken and no one was home at the time of the incident."
Luckily for Lindsay, she was out of town in Europe, promoting Labor Pains. Her home alarm system went off, alerting cops that something could be wrong and prompting them to come check it out.
E! also reports that a source says there is a "person of interest" who has been allegedly stalking LiLo and making threats against her.

Stay safe, Lindsay

Jenniifer Lopez Opens Up About Baby's Medical Emergency

Despite being one of the most high-profile celebrities on the planet, Jennifer Lopez can be a very private person, especially when it comes to her infant twins, Max and Emme.
But at Saturday night's Noche de Niños gala benefit for the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, the singer/actress spoke openly about the night she rushed her baby girl to the hospital.
"We both got very nervous, very very nervous, and I just remember my heart sinking to my feet," she revealed, according to Eonline.com, about the night she discovered a lump on then 3-week-old Emme's head. "I looked at [Marc] and I said, ‘You know if anything happens, I'm not going to be okay, you know that, right?'"
The couple took Emme to Children's Hospital, where after undergoing several tests, says J.Lo, "Luckily, in the end she turned out fine."
And it turned out fine for Children's Hospital too when Jennifer soon joined the hospital in forming the Maribel Foundation, which helps to provide pediatric medical services to those in need.
