New comedy is called The Other Side
In the movie Lindsay plays a grad student who must spend her summer doing scientific work on a remote island.
While there, she discovers an underground community hiding a secret about a long ago tragedy.
The cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette.
According to director David Michaels, "Lindsay's very aware of people's perceptions of her. She's really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that."
