Today on 6 May, the Oscar winner Marlee Matlin (L Word, Desperate Housewives, Seinfeld, among many others ...) receive their star on the walk of fame in Hollywood Blvd, honoring an extensive television and movie career, including being the youngest winner of the best actress Academy Award
Actor-producer Henry Winkler and Anne Sweeney, president of Disney-ABC Television Group, join Matlin in speaking in the ceremony in front of the Musso & Frank Grill on Hollywood Boulevard,
The ceremony also include children from the Northbrook, Ill.-based International Center of Deafness & the Arts performing a song.
Marlee did a nice speech thanking family and friends being present :
"it was a long way coming and thank you for hold my spot, please make sure that no one spits gum on my star"
